This website is meant to be used by participants of tournaments which are organized with the Tugeny desktop application. Its main feature is an unprecedented, convenient live overview about the state of a tournament. This includes an up-to-date schedule for each team's matches and referee duties, and a record of recent match results.
This website is not an online implementation of the Tugeny desktop application and serves a different purpose.
The Tugeny desktop application is an open source project, est. 2014 by Nythagoras, that can be downloaded here: Tugeny at SourceForge.
It provides sophisticated graphical means to develop advanced tournament brackets and schedules, supplemented by quality assessment simulations and optimization tools.
We develop this website in the hope that it helps people (including ourselves) to carry out tournaments of any size. By the provided combination of tools we enable and encourage the development of tournament brackets that as closely as possible meet the requirements of various situations, e.g. tournaments where not only the winner is played out but a full ranking of the whole field of participants.
If you have ideas to further improve this website or the Tugeny desktop application feel free to get in touch with us. Also, any help and especially long-term co-developers are welcome, since this is an open source project that is developed in limited spare time.
